La Machine

Further to Ruby's post with the leaked piccyture of La Machine.. the arty thing happening in Liverpool this weekend, myself and N went for a little hunt today. We found where they are building it in Cammell Laird's shipyard hangers in Birkenhead. Eeeee!!!
The thing is freakin' HUGE!
We couldn't get close at all, but the very lovely security guy let us take photos from the barrier, and hang about for a bit. It's all very cloak and dagger. They're using the farthest hanger away from the main stretch, and it's in a corner with loads of waste ground. The French engineers were milling about in the distance. We watched it move up and down the hill a bit, and wave it's legs about.. very, very cool.
Onto the pics.. I apologise in advance for the quality. Where we could get to see it wasn't ideal, and they were hiding a lot, plus my camera's zoom isn't that powerful.. anyhoo..
Obv. spoilers abound for La Machine:
If you go down to Cammell Laird's today..
All set for some evil industrial espionage..
Not really... face of innocence.. "Please Mister, can we look at the cool thing?"

What's that coming over the hill?

Is it a monster? Is it a monsteerr? *sings*

Eek! Yes, it is!

And on this one, you can just see who I presume to be it's operators and/or victims..

Metro Article (secret location.. pfft!)
The schedule is apparently getting announced tomorrow *g*
