I know a few on my friends list are into this type of thing... if you're not off to Infest, here's an alternative:
"Whiplash is coming back to Birkenhead. The first night is Friday 26th August @ Hex.... and it promises to be a stonker. Live music comes from Achren and Dionysus, both bands from Glasgow... both bands awesome. Achren have played at Whiplash twice before and they never fail to impress!!!!
As well as the bands playing, I will be playing the best Thrash, Death, Black, Extreme and Power metal. I don't play Nu metal or anything that doesn't fit the above genres.
Doors open at 9, and its £4 to get in. I will play requests, but advanced requests on my forum do take precedence over some of the ones made on the night...... to request, you can P.M me here or join the Whiplash forum: http://sal666.proboards23.com/index.cgi
