Hi all..
Just some updates on what we're up to the next few months..

First off.. I hope you've all recovered from our spanking NYE bash.
The Midian/Sanctuary night was hugely successful, and it was
brilliant to see so many people having a good night. One minor
little matter to clear up though. There was a mix up with 2 coats at
the end of the night, that looked very similar. If anyone knows a
way to get in touch with the couple from Wrexham, who were the last
guys to leave on NYD, then please can you let us know. The guy had
greenish short dreads in a ponytail. Much appreciation if you can
help..

Next dates for your diary..
Drumroll please..

Our inaugeral Midian-related social/pub meet is on Sunday 30th
January. It's been dubbed by Welsh Paul as 'The Red Wine Before
Breakfast Club' (amongst other things!). This is a trial run for
what we hope will be a monthly event to compliment our local club
nights, and as a springboard for other social events. This will be
the ideal opportunity to catch up with friends, introduce new
people, have a gossip and a natter, all with a background of groovy
tunes.

Sunday 30th January @ Hev'n and Hell venue
No entry charge
Full bar, tea, coffee and soft drinks
From 3pm onwards. We're planning to finish around 9pm to allow for
those with work commitments.. but the bar is open until 12.30am.
Feel free to bring any magazines, books, board games etc.
Music will be of the quieter background variation.. with the
emphasis on ethereal, trad, ambient and album tracks.. ie things you
wouldn't necessarily hear at Midian.
If there's anything you'd like to see at these social happenings,
then please contact us, either via the board, or the contacts below.
We'd love to see as many as possible at this gathering.. we don't
often get a chance to talk to everyone in a club setting :), and
we'd love to see this be a success..

Midian proper returns on Saturday 12th Febuary with our trad/old
school special.
For this one we'll be turning the focus on all things gawf, Batcave
and post-punk. While the weather is still poop, it's the ideal
opportunity to dress up in velvet and lace finery, snuggle up
against the cold. Alternatively dress to distress in pvc, fishnet
and pins ;)
