May. 1st, 2003 02:15 amWell despite general feeling of bad moodswings, and normal crap like bills an' shit.. actually managed to have an ace weekend..
Sat saw me and Jason running round like blue arsed flies trying to get ready for Rocky Horror. After plans to go to manc shopping had to be unfortunately scuppered due to getting up late after going to bed after work at about 6am fri/sat.. only had time to grab a few things from b'head but kewl anyways. Rocky Horror was ace.. front row tickets smack bang in t'middle.. my friend Jenny had to sit next to a scary man, who seemed to have forgotten to don the rest of his outfit.. preferring instead to favour the sweaty t-shirt (complete with pit stains..nice)and sussies look.. a strange combination to say the least.. Lots of hidden flirting on stage.. Jonathon Wilkes and the guy playing Rocky (v.cute,and flexible.. hahaha)especially.. when it wasn't their scenes and out of main audience view.. i don't know.. the usual asides and bitchy comments too.. but well worth it.
After me and Jase ventured up to Pizza Hut, after being told that KFC had run out of chicken, can you believe!! Got a round of applause on decidindg to go the toilet off the ENTIRE lot of customers in there.. mortified, but v.funny.. Well i was wearing a short pvc skirt and corset, a black shirt, apron,fishnets and a huge wig.. so i expect i deserved it :)
After a drinky at the swan, ended up in the Krappy House, where i bumped into Lee and Kris amongst others.. god it's dead in there nowadays..
Sunday was a bit fruaght, but ended up well.. After suddenly realising that there was no way on earth i was going to get up for the 7.30ish train to Preston.. i suddenly had the horrible realisation that i had to put my Avon order in whilst still half drunk.. not easy at the best of times :) Consequentely didn't get up to Preston till 5ish (i think).... Got there.. mooched about a bit with Anna, Jared, jaSon and Lorraine.. then the vid shoot. Picked up Gemma and her fella Jo.. then to the warehouse..
Got to go now, taxi calls.. but will finish my tale of the weekend, video shots,Moulin Rouge etc and put up the Midian setlist finally when i can :)
