MFM and Mercy

Yesterday was kewl. Got to the Merseyside Fetish Market about 2.30pm, after Nathan went to my parents house. Very impressed by the range of stalls, and the bargain prices therein. There was a good mix, and going by the stalls lined up for next month, that variety should be continuing. I got a lovely celtic style bronze cloak pin, from some guy who hand makes them and other items. He also makes personalised slave/fetish collars and cuffs, which are very nice, and may well be on the shopping list for next time! Got a brand new crop to replace the one that got broken *ahem*, and a dressage crop, with a gorge white leather handle. From another stall I also got me a pinwheel.. one of those medical type things to test sensations. As mentioned, there was a wide range of stalls, and I also got a pewter green man pendant, and a new ankh, as well as two matching black (natch) candle holders for the bargain price of a fiver each So all in all, quite a good haul you could say! Got to natter to quite a few of the stallholders too & picked up some flyers..
After the MFM closed, we then went up to town for a bit of a wander and food, as we were starving by this point. Delicious tapas at La Tasca was had, and new fishnets bought..
Then back to Mercy for the evenings entertainment. There was a rope demo, where although I could see what see what she was getting at, I wasn't that impressed by her, I have to say. Highlight being one of the subs being used as a model completely going to jelly even before the first knot was tied! She was shivering in antici----pation as it were ;)
Then the rest of the night kinda passed in an enjoyable blur. J had to go home for babysitting duty :( , but apart from that it was fun. The two spaces seemed to work much better than last time. People were coming downstairs listening to my top tunes ;) , chatting and having drinks, and watching the vid screen then going upstairs to watch or play and then coming back downstairs again. It seemed to work really well, and there was a good atmosphere. Mike and tiana, and the rest of the crew should be really proud today.. it all seemed to come together yesterday, and ran really smoothly.
Really looking forward to the next one now on 3rd Oct, should be fun..

Date: 2004-09-06 02:19 am (UTC)Glad u had a good time, im looking forward to 3rd Oct too as i have my stall!! Not sure what ill be taking as i dont think there would be much room for my rails, but we shall see!!! I dont think we'll be staying into the night tho, but maybe another time....

The stallholders all gave really good feedback on sales etc.. and judging by the reaction when i've told people you're going to be there selling corsets, i'd say you'll go down a storm ;)
