Dark-cide tomorrow??

Public transport to and from Preston from Liverpool is a bitch at weekends taking helllish amounts of waiting time, considering how close it actually is. Ideally I want to be coming back to the Wirral on the same night after the club finishes.
If there's anyone who could help me out with transport, and/or info, I'd be very appreciative. If someone could give me a lift there and back it would be fabulous. I could cover all petrol costs no probs. Even just a lift back would be really helpful. Or anyone who knows of any better way to travel to and from Preston, other than National Express and trains.
Dark-cide is an excellent night out, and I really want to go. I'm also taking some VNV tickets with me to sell, so it's important if i can try to make it...
