Bloody hell!?!

Well fuck me sideways with a rusty chainsaw.. kid's weekly toiletpaper.. ahem.. "magazine" Kerrap! have actually got a review worth noting for a change. Laibach's single- Tanz Mit Laibach has received four Ks and single of the week.. well wonders will never cease. You may of course ask ( and I can hear some of you now), why I buy the god-forsaken rag in the first place. Well, you see, it's partially from some miss-placed sense of loyalty, as I started to buy it, back when it had all sorts of metal and related stuffs in it. Nowadays, whilst i'm not averse to a good pop tune when i hear it occasionally, i seem to be being force-fed pop-rock crap and 4th rate pop-punk, with no let up in sight. I suppose it's also partially because I will read most anything if it stops still long enough :) , and am officially the magazine queen to anyone who has shared a flat with me for any length of time. I think it's because my stupid brain reckons that a mag is cheaper than a new book.. but i seem to be yet to realise that a/usually I end up buying a book anyway and b/that the amount of various mags i buy usually adds up to far more than the average book cost.. *grin*

In other news.. venturing to Sanctuary tonight for a much overdue boogie.. panicked phonecalls from Smogo last night, about whether Oct 1st gig still going ahead (it is).. setlists, and reports on recent activies, last w'ends trip to York etc to note..spent a fair bit on Music Zone's v.cheap CD sale today (my standard excuse to self?"They're for DJing!").. life laundrying, and daydreaming about homes of my future husband and myself..
